Hey guys, just a brief recap of the most recent manga chapters for anyone who missed them! Apologies in advance for the Wall-o-text and extremely brief details!
Naruto 555: Naruto was trying to do a Tailed Beast Bijuu technique but failed and and shortly after was taken from his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. Naruto tells Dodai that he needs to contact the Eight Tails. As the 3rd Raikage attacks them, Dodai forms a rubber ball as a distraction to give Naruto some time.
Dodai calls Inoichi to transfer over to Bee and Naruto tells Bee that he wants to talk to the Eight Tails. The Eight Tails tells Naruto that when he and the 3rd Raikage fought they used their techniques against them while they collapsed. The 3rd Raikage cuts the rubber ball in half (which is the Lava technique that Dodai just used that hid himself and Naruto in it) and sees that Naruto wasn’t in it. The 3rd Raikage heads to where Naruto is. During that time, Naruto goes into Sage Mode and uses Frog Kata to see the 3rd Raikage’s attacks faster.
The 3rd Raikage attacks with the one-finger attack called Hell Bringer but Naruto dodges it and hits the Raikage’s arm with the Rasengan, knocking his attack into his own chest. The sealing team hurry’s to seal the 3rd Raikage. Back to the Second Mizukage, he stands before Gaara and asks him if that was all he is capable of.
Naruto 556: Gaara sees how the Mizukage’s oily water goes into his sand and it’s useless. Gaara sees how strong the Mizukage is. He detects the Giant Clam’s location, showing Onoki where to shoot with Dust Release, but since he has used up too much chakra from fighting Mu, he can’t use it. He punches the giant clam but doesn’t dispel the genjutsu.
Onoki increases the weight of his fist on the Giant Clam and smashes it, and then he injures his own back. After that, the genjutsu is broken and the Mizukage strikes the Onoki, but it turns out to be a distraction placed by Gaara. He immobilizes the Mizukage with great amounts of sand so the oily water can’t go through it all. The Sealing Team starts to work, but the sand explodes before they can finish. Onoki tells Gaara this isn’t genjutsu, but the ninjutsu not even Mu knew how to counter.
Naruto 557: The steam takes shape of a boy and The Tsuchikage explains them what the Mizukage’s technique is and the ability is called the Steaming Danger Tyranny. The clone begins attacking and it’s able to dodge Gaara’s sand. Onoki tells Gaara to forget the clone and go after the Mizukage. A sensor shinobi detects the Mizukage and the clone moves very fast attacking everyone.
Gaara begins trapping the Mizukage in sand again, but the Sealing Team is being attacked by the clone. The Mizukage’s head emerges from the sand, telling Gaara that as long as he has oil the sand won’t be useful. Naruto, Temari and other shinobi pick up their pace towards the location. The Allied shinobi are protected by Gaara’s sand. He attacks the clone and the clones dodges his sand and the clone strikes Gaara. After the strike the clone gave Gaara it turns out that Gaara was a sand clone.
Gaara then reveals himself from the ground and captures the clone with his sand. The clone explodes again but the sand falls apart and seems to be a gold shell. Gaara explains that he hid some of his father’s Gold Dust in the sand clone, which he was able to slow down with heat, effectively turning it into a golden shell.
Naruto 558: Kabuto was thinking that it was fortunate that Mu’s half was sealed before it could alert the Allied shinobi. Mu is disappointed that Onoki failed to know about Mu’s ability with his other half, since the half of Mu is sealed.
Kabuto figures that since Mu’s power was also split, it will take a while for him to do another summon. Naruto gets to Gaara’s location and tells him that the 3rd Raikage has been sealed. Gaara demands that the HQ should be updated about the current situation. Temari tells the medical team to head to the base to be healed and says the same to Onoki. At the coast, the Allied shinobi came up with a strategy so they don’t fight each other trying to find who’s a white Zetsu.
A Naruto clone sees Dan and he’s told of Naruto’s reputation as the Nine-Tails’ jinchuriki and his dreams of becoming Hokage At the Logistical Support and Medical Division compound, 2 White Zetsu looking like one of the allied ninjas almost strike Sakura, but are defeated by one of Naruto’s clones. At another battlefield, another Naruto shadow clone destroys a White Zetsu and saves Hinata from three of them. Neji and Kiba notice how different Naruto is. And now after some waiting, Mu is about to summon.
Naruto 559: Mu now summons a coffin from the Edo tensi, the figure gets out of the coffin. Mu is impressed that someone would bring this person back with Impure World Resurrection. The person who came out of the coffin was confused, asking itself if it was brought back from Edo Tensi. Neji and Kiba notice how Naruto is different and are wondering if it’s really him. Hinata says to them that it’s Naruto. Kakashi cuts through Fuguki Suikazan, from the seven swordsmen from the hidden mist, then giving the chance for Sai to seal him. At Mifune’s Division, another clone reaches and prepares to fight Kimimaro and Chiyo.
A clone reaches Mei’s group and fights Black Zetsu. Inoichi started receiving reports from all of the divisions that Naruto is defeating all White Zetsu. Shikaku thinks that they should start focusing on fighting Madara and capture him. Ao detects something near Gaara’s division. Mu is joined by a resurrected Madara Uchiha which causes everyone to ponder who is really under the mask of the man who started this war.
Naruto 560: Madara asks Mu how he was resurrected. Kabuto uses Mu to talk directly to Madara and he is explaining why he was brought back in a time like this to reach his higher power. Gaara attacks Madara but he dodges his sand and uses a Fire Release, then the Alliance shinobi used a water wall jutsu. Madara defends himself with Susano’o and as Naruto prepares to go into Sage Mode, Onoki makes Gaara’s sand lighter allowing him to pull Madara out of his Susano’o just to be hit by Naruto’s Rasenshuriken.
Madara uses his Rinnegan and absorbs the Rasenshuriken. Kabuto’s knowledge about the secret behind the Sharingan was correct. Then Madara says to Kabuto that the power that he already has was not created by Kabuto. Then with a couple of hand signs, he summons a giant meteor.
